Technical Insights

Wet pour rubber surfacing is a versatile two-part system adaptable to various depths. The top layer, or wearing course, boasts a non-slip surface constructed from robust EPDM rubber granules expertly blended with a polyurethane binder. These meticulously processed granules yield a strongly bonded surface with exceptional tensile strength, ensuring longevity.

Beneath the surface lies the base course, crafted from recycled rubber granules, primarily sourced from discarded truck tires. The depth of this resilient base layer is tailored to accommodate the specific playground equipment. This cushioning base layer dissipates impact energy, gradually altering and extending its effect over time and distance.
