New Toddler Playground in West Wales Village Featuring Lappset ABC Unit
Adventure Playgrounds Wales recently transformed an underused grassy area into a vibrant and inclusive toddler play zone in a quiet West Wales village. This installation has quickly become a community highlight, providing local families with a safe, colourful, and engaging space for early-years play.
With the support of the local council and community stakeholders, we delivered a low-maintenance, high-impact installation designed to encourage movement, coordination, and imagination for pre-school and early primary-age children.
Playground Features
- Lappset ABC Toddler Unit: A bright and compact multiplay unit with slides, ramps, and crawl-throughs, designed specifically for younger users to build confidence and motor skills.
- Steel Swing Set: With a mix of flat and cradle seats to suit a variety of ages and abilities.
- Froggy Spinner: A low-level rotating unit for sensory and vestibular development.
- Butterfly Springer: A classic favourite for bounce and imaginative play.
- Wet pour Safety Surfacing: Durable and slip-resistant surfacing throughout for all-weather access and fall protection.
Impact
This new space has brought fresh life to a once-unused patch of grass. Families now have a safe and welcoming area to enjoy outdoor time close to home. The bright equipment, smooth surfacing, and inclusive design ensure that children of all abilities can engage in early years development through play.
